Das Bild zeigt Dr. al Bouti. Eine Plakatwand in Damaskus bildet Präsident Assad und den verstorbenen Scheich al Bouti, der Syriens hochrangigster Koran-Gelehrter war, zusammen ab. Der Scheich war im Mai 2013 mit 40 weiteren Personen in einer Moschee durch die Terrorgruppe Jabhat al Nusra ermordet worden. In einer für sie typischen Art hatten sie gedroht ihn zu töten, töteten ihn sodann, feierten den Mord, um  schließlich die syrische Regierung dafür verantwortlich zu machen.
